Almost two months into
the job and it seems to be going OK so far. The drive-in
was every bit as terrifying as I thought it would be,
especially when my ball looked as though it was heading
out of bounds at one stage. It was in bounds by one yard
- phew!!
The Fur and Feather
competitions seemed to go very well - there is a good
spread of prize-winners and Steve and I are looking
forward to the presentation on Sunday - please come
along and join in the fun.
We had the Children's
Christmas party on 6th December. Santa was there with
presents for all the Children. He seemed very nervous
but told me afterwards that it was much more enjoyable
than he thought it would be. He had lots of help from a
lot of helpers for which he was most grateful.
We also had the
Christmas dinner/dance and Raffle Draw last Saturday and
I thought it went very well. The food was excellent -
many thanks to Elaine, Richard and the team - and the
entertainer was very good.
Not much golf going on
at this time of year although Francis and his team
continue to keep the course in the best possible
condition. Steve and I have played four of our
challenges - so far so good.
That's about it for
now. Nothing remains but for me to wish you and your
families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy
New Year.
Paul
