The first fun golf day was held today. 72 members and their guests took part making it a most successful day. The format was 1 to count on the first hole, 2 on the second and 3 on the third and this was repeated
for the full 18 holes. Following the golf was a carvery, which was well presented and served by Elaine and her staff.

Many thanks to June and Keith (note the order of names) Dobney for their wonderful organisation and all who played; hope it will not be a one off.

Also many thanks to our Vice President who agreed to present the
prizes - he sure is looking good after his surgery.

The winners with a score of 81 pts were:
David and Sally Chapman, Harriet and David Hewitt - well
done to them.

Malcolm Simpson, David Kirby, Pam and Ray Skidmore 2nd
with 78 on local rule.

Nigel and Sue Oldman, Richard and Jackie Covington also
on 78.
