The fun golf was blessed by reasonable weather thank goodness. Sixty people took part in a Step Aside Texas Scramble (twelve holes). 

First was Mike & Carol Hinks with David & Anne Straker = 35.3.net.

Second was Bron & Rob Hunter with J.Haigh & Andy Haigh = 36 net.

Third was Richard & Jackie Covington with Jo Corlet & Pete Shaw = 36 net.

Best gross came from a team lead by an up and coming promising golfer - Mr Brian Fagin with Ray & Pam Skidmore & June Dobney = 49 gross 41.5 net.

Congratulations to Julie Seabrook & Linda Paylor on completing their first competition after coming through Dom’s academy with a creditable 42 net.

Sixty seven people sat down to an excellent carvery afterwards and our thanks go to Dick, Elaine, young Rich & the girls for the great setting out of the tables and for looking after us all.

Our thanks to Eric Tetchner for taking the money and handing out the cards as Dom claimed he was getting married or something!!!
