Ground under Repair: Play Prohibited
[Rule 25 Note 2]
The clearly defined
area on the re-designed 14th green (i.e. behind and
beyond the temporary hole cut on the approach of that
green) is ground under repair from which play is
prohibited.
If a player’s ball
lies within any part of this area, or if it interferes
with the player’s stance or the area of intended swing,
the player must take relief under Rule 25-1.
The clearly defined
area at the back of the 16th green (i.e. behind and
beyond the new ditch) is ground under repair from which
play is prohibited.
If a player’s ball
lies within any part of this area, or if it interferes
with the player’s stance or the area of intended swing,
the player must take relief under Rule 25-1.
Players must take
relief by using the designated “Dropping Zone”
established at the rear of the 16th green.
Penalty for breach of local rule:
Match play - Loss of hole: Stroke
play - 2 strokes.
