For the coming season the Council of National Golf Unions (CONGU) has decided that handicaps will be classed as inactive unless 3 qualifying scores are submitted. Details are shown below:

At the last handicap meeting it was agreed that anyone who is inactive can play in a competition but they cannot win it.

The EGU literature also suggests that, this year, they might insist on 4 or 5 qualifying scores as opposed to 3. Details of what constitute Supplementary Scores are shown here:
